We are loving all of this rain but need to be outside. I let them run in the water today. Winston almost lost his pants because they were so wet. Their boots were full of water. Fun times. I miss being a kid.

Mutton Bustin'
We entered Winston in Mutton Bustin' at the Austin rodeo.
He is ready to quit school and baseball and do this all the time.
His sheep ran straight for the wall, and we all thought they would
both hit head first in the wall. The sheep stopped but Winston stuck his hand out and fell off. He claims he was never nervous and had a blast.
Shannon's Big Catch
Shannon's 19.5 lb striper caught on Canyon Lake.
His smile alone tells the story of this fishing trip.

A Warm Night
This was a Saturday night right before a cold front came.
We were able to sit by the fire outside and watch the stars come out.
It was a nice evening.
Winston and Shannon made this sword earlier in the day.
What Love!!!

Basketball Game
We took the kids to a fundraiser basketball game in LaGrange.
It was a lot of fun.
These two players are 6'8" and 6'9".
She was my height.
January 2015
The kids went to the dentist last month. Jordan has two cavities that will need to be fixed. The only problem with that is she will not let anyone near her face. We are going today to a dentist at Texas Children's to see what can be done to fix this. Shannon and I didn't want the doctors to have to sedate her this year. We wanted to give her a break. So, I am a little disappointed about this. We take each day as it comes though.
We went to a wedding in Bishop early January. Unfortunately Shannon got sick and stayed at the hotel most of the time. The kids and I had a great time dancing at the wedding. We stopped at a museum in Corpus.

Christmas Program
The kids sang an elf song at their Christmas program. As shy as Jordan is, she was the loudest. This was also her first performance since she was recovering from surgery last year.
Santa was at school after the program.
Cookie Baking and Leaf Raking
Santa Mouse told the kids to make cookies and bring them to others. After they made cookies, the kids raked leaves and played in them. They were all so dirty but loved every minute of it.
Santa Mouse
Santa Mouse came to our house to teach the kids about the true meaning of Christmas. He hides everyday and sends the kids a message. The kids love to find him each day.

We Can Read
My kids are reading!!!
As an educator, it is so awesome to watch your own children start to read. I am so proud of both of them.
