First Pumpkin Pies

Jordan and Winston made their first pumpkin pies from their pumpkins

They Are Getting Along???

These two fight ALL the time.  In rare occasions they surprise me and get along.  Jordan is helping Winston make sand art.  He gave it to me for my birthday.  This picture was the best birthday present they gave me (even though it only lasted 10 minutes).

Jordan Lost Her First Tooth

One morning, Jordan said her tooth hurt.  So, I checked on it and it was loose.  I did not think it would fall out anytime soon.  That day at lunch, it fell out.  I was shocked.  She was so happy.

Fayetteville Lickskillet Parade

Jordan is in the cheerleader program at school.
This was her cheer float.

Little Mister Lickskillet

One day at school, the kids had a meeting about the Lickskillet pageant.  Winston heard you could win $100.  That is all it took.  Mommy please let me do this.  He wants to buy a computer.  Jordan said no way would she be in a pageant.  So he entered.

Fire Prevention Posters

These two did a super job on their posters.  My mom helped them since Shannon and I were out of town.  Jordan actually won runner up.

Fall Ball

Winston is playing fall ball.  It is the first time to have the machine pitch to him.  He doesn't always hit, but when he does, he is one happy boy.  He also likes to play catcher.  This scares me.  That ball comes so fast.  I think he has his eyes closed in that picture.

Winston Loses His First Tooth

Winston lost his first tooth on the 18th.  It was right after school.  He was so excited and has another tooth that will fall out soon.  Jordan said that wasn't fair.

Our Deer Are Back

1st Grade

Having Jordan and Winston in class has been fun.  After the first week, Jordan started crying in class and she didn't know why.  I know she was tired, but I think seeing me in a different role was a little overwhelming for her.  They both have there moments in class when I am not sure what to do.  I am just shocked that neither one of them act like me when I was in school.  I was so afraid of getting in trouble, I never did anything wrong.  I guess they take after their father.  I think we are going to be okay.  I will be crying (as usual) when this year is over.  They are getting so big.
